Commissions

  • Physical or Digital?

Depending on your need or want, you can decide between a traditional piece of art done on cold-pressed paper, or a digital piece.

If you are using it for commercial purposes, then let me know and we can discuss a deal structure that works for both parties.

  • Deciding on a Price

Each piece is unique, and it’s impossible to know the exact to-the-dollar cost ahead of time. This is why I don’t have standard, concrete rates. Most single character portraits with no background range from $250 + (before standard shipping rates), while larger, more complicated pieces (up to 22×30) can cost as much as $1,000.

Really, it’s depends on the scope and scale of what we are trying to capture. However, from price to concept, this is a collaborative process. Most importantly, it is a fun process.

  • Payment Structure

Once a price and general concept is agreed upon, half of the total payment is due to reserve your place in line. I can have many commissions stacked up, and that deposit guarantees your work is placed in the queue.

Once the work is complete, the other half is due before it can be shipped (a standard shipping rate is included at this point). If the piece is large enough that it requires specialized shipping, then there may be an additional payment request to facilitate. This normally only applies to pieces larger than 12×16.
