A real-time-strategy survival game based around the weather patterns of the United Cities of America, and the meteorological teams dedicated to monitoring, protecting, and averting BT activity.
Overview
For those that played Hideo Kojima’s (arguable) masterpiece, you may remember that there were three different filters or layers that you could apply to the overhead map. One of them was focused on weather, which would allow Sam Bridges (the player) to see cloudbursts of spiritual, time-warping proportions.
This game puts the player in the shoes of a Director at an organization called DIRAGIBLE. They are a government organization working directly under the orders of the President of the United Cities of America, and their job is to monitor, track, and predict weather patterns to better help the cities and bunkers of the country survive. They must work with many different stations, balance their needs, ensure porters can make deliveries, and even defend against terrorist factions and M.U.L.E.S.
The Gameplay
Imagine Frostpunk but in the Death Stranding world. Instead of one stationary base, the player has a floating station that can move with weather patterns, along with a group of Forecasters, Speakers, Levees, Ties, and Meteorologists. These are all job titles for DIRAGIBLE, and can follow weather, read patterns, defend cities, and built installations to better protect the citizens of the country.
